Greatly enjoyed how charming small and quiet the property was. As for me, the location was convenient and perfect, next to the ski lifts, bus stops and rental shops, the après-ski bars and bus stops. It also was in the middle of the city.
Almost perfect.

The value for money at Schwarzwand was outstanding, with a fantastic room and breathtaking views from the balcony. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the village and ski lift, and the staff treated us like family, always friendly and helpful.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with more vegetarian options.

I recently stayed at Hotel Schwarzwand for a week-long mountain-hiking trip. The hotel's Scandi style and open layout gave it a beautiful and uncluttered feel. The staff, especially Vicky on reception and Clemens, Gemma, and Tabor in the restaurant, were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The sommelier, Clemens, had an impressive knowledge of wine, and the chefs catered to all dietary requests, including vegan and vegetarian. The location was perfect, with easy access to ski lifts, bus stops, and rental shops. The room was clean and spacious, with stunning views from the balcony. The daily breakfast service was outstanding, making our stay truly memorable.

Stayed in a cosy hotel during our city trip, where the staff was lovely and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains, and the breakfast spread was fresh with a great selection of food. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was near the beginner's slope, and within a few minutes' walk to the main road where shops and après-ski bars were located. they had bob sleds/toboggans available to rent, which was great fun.
The wifi was a bit lazy, and the beds were two narrow singles pushed together which wasn't very comfortable.
